On Thursday October 16th, the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo will celebrate Zinck's Night simultaneously with other Cornell Clubs from around the world.
What is Zinck's Night, you may ask?
All Cornellians are welcome!
Theodore Zinck was a saloonkeeper in Ithaca, and his pub, the Hotel Brunswick, was a popular gathering place for Cornellians in the 1890s. After his death in 1903, several bars using his name continued to provide a haven for students. When the last Zinck's closed in the mid-1960s, celebrating the spirit of Zinck's became a favorite Thursday night Collegetown tradition for undergraduates. The Buffalo event is set to take place at the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery in downtown Buffalo (76 Pearl Street Buffalo, NY 14202) on Oct. 16th, beginning at 5:30 PM. The Club will pick up the tab for appetizers. A cash bar will be available.
All Cornellians are welcome!
