Interested in Interviewing Cornell Applicants?
This year, over 250 high school students from the Niagara Frontier - including Erie and Niagara counties - are expected to apply to our alma mater. To ensure that as many of these students as possible have a chance to meet enthusiastic Cornell representatives, please consider joining CAAAN.

CAAAN is the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, a group of nearly 6,900 alumni volunteers who assist the Cornell admissions community in recruiting superior undergraduate applicants.

Your commitment will entail contacting and meeting with several applicants from now until the end of February. Given that applicants generally have little personal contact with Cornell alumni, these meetings are often critical to a student's decision to attend Cornell. Total time commitment is a couple of hours over the span of several months.

If you are interested in joining the Network or know of a friend who might be interested, please contact Matthew Nagowski '05 at nagowski(at)cornell.edu. We are presently facing a high demand for volunteers in Williamsville, the City of Buffalo, and the Eastern Suburbs (including Lancaster and West Seneca).

We are also organizing an informational dinner and training session with a representative from the undergraduate admissions office tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, January 7th at Chef's Restaurant in downtown Buffalo. More information on that event will be forthcoming to all CAAAN volunteers.
