2009 Scholarship Dinner -- September 24th
Did you know that Cornellians in the Buffalo area helped send 18 local students to Cornell last year? On Thursday, September 24th the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo is bringing you an opportunity to contribute to our students' success while dining with 50 other Cornellians with whom you already share a special bond.

There's more. Do you know who wrote, "Food isn't just nourishment. And it isn't just politics. It's enjoyment; it's happy memories"? Hint: She's our featured speaker. Janice Okun '54, longtime food editor of The Buffalo News before retiring in March, will join us and share 'Confessions of a Locavore Restaurant Critic.'

Take a peek at the menu below, it features the foods of Western New York in a Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards Five Course '100 Mile' Feast. Ingredients from nine farms within a 100 mile radius of Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards will be used to prepare your meal, each course paired with a wine selection just for the occasion.
