Scholarship: The Club is organizing an essay contest/book prize for local high school students. The goal of the contest is to develop critical writing skills in area students while engaging our alums and promoting Cornell within our community. We currently need volunteers to help ensure that the all local high schools are aware of the contest so that the widest spectrum of local students can participate. We will also need volunteers to judge the submitted essays in early 2010.

Service: As part of Cornell Cares Day, the Club is encouraging current students and alums to come together for a day of engagement with the local community. While the full event details have yet to be fully ironed out, mark your calendar for January 9th and contact Adam Wilson '93 for further information.
