E.B. Green '78 Architectural Tour -- May 8th

Did you know that Buffalo's most prolific architect was a Cornell alumnus?

E.B. Green, Class of 1878, who along with his colleague William Wicks (who also attended Cornell, but did not graduate), designed some of the most prominent buildings in the region, and was responsible for over 200 residences, offices, and public buildings in Buffalo.

His work includes the Albright Art Gallery, the Buffalo YMCA, the Buffalo Savings Bank (now M&T's Gold Dome), and the First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo

This exclusive, specially-created tour will comprise a one-hour walk through Downtown Buffalo, followed by a one-hour bus tour through the Delaware District. The tour will be narrated by a trained docent from Buffalo Tours and chaperoned by U.B. Architecture professor Joyce Hwang '98.

The two-hour tour will depart at 3PM May 8th. Please meet in the Market Arcade building, 617 Main Street ten minutes prior to departure.

The tour will take place rain or shine. This is a family friendly event -- all ages are welcome!

After the tour be sure to join your fellow alumni for a glass of wine at nearby Cornellian-run E.B. Green's.
