On July 13th, area CAAAN volunteers welcomed new students to the local Cornell community!

This year the Cornell Club is excited to announce that 54 students from Erie and Niagara counties will be matriculating to Cornell this August, a recent record for the area. By comparison, last year only saw 35 area students matriculate at Cornell. Over 300 students applied to Cornell from the area this year.

Nancy Falletta '83 graciously hosted, with ice cream and chocolate coins generously donated by Peter Morphis MBA '75 (owner of Antoinette's Sweets on Transit Road) and musical entertainment provided by John Whitney '82. Entering Cornell students met with each other, compared dorm assignments, learned Cornell trivia, received advice from wise alumni, and learned the words to the Alma Mater!
