Summer Wine and Dine at Marjim Manor -- August 7th

Join the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo and our hosts, Margo and Jim Bittner '80, for a summer afternoon of local wine, food, and merriment at Marjim Manor on the shores of Lake Ontario! This seasonal luncheon will feature locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables paired with wines produced by Marjim Manor. Join your fellow alumni and friends in toasting the summer while we enjoy all that Western New York has to offer!

Wild rice with cranberries and pistachios
Paired with Katapaloza wine (sweet tart fruit melody, similar to sangria)

Spring mix salad with strawberries, almonds and vinaigrette dressing
Paired with Strawberry Dreams (nice, light strawberry)

Sweet corn on the cob
Paired with Heart of Gold (full body sweet apricot, to pick up buttery corn)

choice of:

Grilled chicken kabobs with seasonal vegetables
Paired with Cabernet (dry smoky and traditional )

Steak kabobs with seasonal vegetables
Paired with Cabernet (dry smoky and traditional )

Penne pasta with seasonal vegetables for vegetarians
Paired with Lady in the Window wine (smooth vidal blanc)

and for dessert:

Fresh peach shortcake
Paired with 50 or 100 Windows wine (very grape-y niagara white; the 50 will be semi-sweet and 100 very sweet)
