March 2nd -- Dinner with Drucy Borowitz M.D. '79 With a Lecture on 'Unraveling the Mystery Behind Cystic Fibrosis' Please note the location and format change for this exciting event! The Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo is pleased to welcome you to an evening of dinner and education to meet the local Cornell alumna, Dr. Drucy Borowitz M.D.'79, who works towards a cure for cystic fibrosis as a physician and researcher. At the event, Borowitz will be presented with a 'distinguished alumna' award by the Cornell Club. Borowitz, an alumna of Brandeis and the Cornell University Medical College (Weill Cornell), is a clinical professor of pediatric pulmonology at the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. While the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of WNY will be in attendance and distributing literature, the Cornell Club is not explicitly raising funds for the CF Foundation as part of the event's proceeds. Attendees are encouraged to donate money to the CF Foundation if they choose. |
