Club Insription Installed At City Honors High School -- Thank You To All Supporters! Following a successful $750 fundraising campaign of Cornell alumni led by our Club, Buffalo's City Honors High School has installed the University seal and an inscription from the Club prominently on a Roycraft-designed trash receptacle in the front foyer of City Honors. The inscription reads a line from the Cornell Evening Song: "Love to thee our fair Cornell". For those interested, one line from the Alma Mater, "reared against the arch of heaven", was considered but deemed to be mildly arrogant and possibly off-putting to the other schools who have donated to City Honors. City Honors has been a great supporter of the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo in the past, graciously hosting our admitted student's reception in the spring. With special thanks to Principal Bill Kresse PhD '04, the Club looks to continue its relationship with City Honors in the future. Pictures below!
