Alumna and Longtime Club Member Memorialized in Auction to Benefit Buffalo Library

When Judy Summer '58 passed away unexpectedly last fall, she left behind a lasting legacy for the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo and the entire Western New York community. A tireless teacher and advocate for public education, Judy played a strong role in various committees for the Club, while also serving on the Board of Trustees for the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System. In honor of Judy's gracious service, the Library has organized an online book auction -- an idea that first started with Judy and to which the the Cornell Club dedicated a signed copy of Professor Jefferson Cowie's award-winning 'Stayin' Alive'. The Club encourages all area alumni to support the library and help celebrate the memory of Judy as a consummate Cornellian.
