The Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo considers its greatest purpose to be supporting the education of future Cornellians. Thanks to the generosity of area alumni, a substantial endowment exists to support deserving Cornell students from the area, and each year a Scholarship Dinner is hosted by the Club to strengthen the endowment's coffers. Donations to the Club's endowment can be made directly through the University's giving website with an explicit designation to the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo Scholarship -- Fund #218100 . All scholarship donations are tax exempt to the full extent of the law. The Club's endowment annually provides more than $30,000 in financial support to undergraduate students.
